Our Molokai Hi Waist Tie Bottom lets you go with the flow in style. Made from recycled nylon and elastane, it’s soft and comfortable to wear. The high-rise style features a wide waistband with decorative tie, high-cut leg, and cheeky bottom coverage. Fully lined front and back, the leak-proof gusset has a high absorbency (up to 8 tampons), protecting you from leaks in – and out – of the water, even on those heavier days. For a resort-style look, pair it with our Molokai Plunge Tie Back Top and dive on in.

  • Made with our patented technology, our swimwear needs to sit snugly at the leg opening to ensure our two-layer leak-proof gusset can do its thing.
  • Layer one in the gusset consists of our unique textured fabric – lab tested to hold up to 40ml (8 tampons) without leaking.
  • Layer two is a waterproof barrier for extra peace of mind.
  • The fabric has excellent two-way stretch making it a comfortable fit for everybody.

Sporty mesh layer is fast drying, helps to control odour and is backed with a breathable, waterproof layer.

The bottom layer is the outer fabric of your swimwear – recycled nylon - which is chlorine resistant, UV50+ rated, water repellent, and dries much faster than your regular swimwear.

Wash your Modibodi before wearing them for the first time! This will prime the fabric’s Modifier Technology™ in the gusset. This initial wash ensures that the fabric’s pores are open and ready to absorb moisture effectively.

Rinse in cold water after use <30°. Do not soak, just rinse until the water runs clear. You can do this in the shower – we love this as it saves water and is super convenient.

Cold wash (now or later – though it’s best not to leave your Modibodi’s wet for too long). Washing them in a delicates bag is even better.

Ensure the product is entirely dry before wearing – this will ensure your underwear are fresh and ready to go. Hot Tip: Hold the fabric softener and avoid the dryer - this reduces the product’s function and can cause damage to the inner fabrics.
